Witness a women's weaving collaborative in the village of Santo Tomas Jalieza. These artisans are masters of backstrap loom cotton weaving, and we will have the opportunity to try our hand at the art. The afternoon transitions to an alebrije workshop in San Martin Tilcajete, where we will have lunch and, if the stars align, discover our spirit animals. Our last stop is San Bartolo Coyotepec, to visit makers of barro negro, black pottery.
